Strolling on discovery in the town of Stockholm with my camera to try to find exciting photo opportunities is a great interest to me.
I started photographing in the late 60’s. I received the first inspiration from my brother-in- law Göte, who was a diligent photographer. He even had a dark room where I assisted him.
My first SLR camera was a Pentax S1a with a 55mm lens. Since then I have had a number of different cameras. Today I have a Nikon D7500 which I am very pleased with.
When I first started photographing we were a group of friends who spent a lot of time together photographing situations in the streets of Stockholm. I became a street photographer, without knowing that this was exactly what we were doing. I wanted to become a photographer, but I started studying at Chalmers University of Technology. During my working years I did not have much time for photographing. In recent years I have wanted to develop as a photographer so I have been looking around for others to join who, like me, are interested in photography. At the Photo Fair in Stockholm 2009, I came in contact with Stockholm's Photo Club and where I have received new inspiration and met new photo friends.
In 2012 Hans Wahlgren started The Street Photography Group. My interest in street photography got a fresh start and I became one of the members of The Street Photography Group.
